Our Area......Diani

There is plenty to do in Kenya after your dive. Most of it close at hand.

Excursions to our seabeds or to the elephants of the Shimba Hills. Chale Paradise Island, Shimba Hills National Reserve, Mwalagangi Elephant Sanctuary.


 

 




Take a boat trip on a local Ngalwa (dug out canoe) to the main barrier reef for a walk at low tide or enjoy some snorkeling in the shallows.

Take an exciting glass-bottom boat trip with your non-divers and enjoy watching the coral fish from the safety of a boat. 



Take to the wind on a windsurfing board and race to the reef and back.

Take a cultural tour to Kaya Kinondo and the surrounding villages.

 


Visit the 14th Century Kongo Mosque.


Visit the unique ecosystems of the Maftaha Bay Mangrove Forests.

The Maftaha Bay mangrove forests are located south of Chale island. They provide a unique eco system as they are protected and untouched. Wildlife is abundant in this area.

Shopping - From carvings on the beach to supermarkets and jewelers shops in the various shopping centers. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along 12kms of white sandy beach. Then when all your energy is used up enjoys Diani's Night Life: Traditional Dances and Shows in the numerous hotels.
